J. Kingsley Greenland II Mr. Greenland is responsible for setting the company's strategy and leading its growth as a premier service provider to the secondary debt markets. Previously, he was President of Boston Capital Mortgage Company, an originator and securitizer of commercial real estate debt. Prior to his involvement with Boston Capital, Mr. Greenland served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Fleet Real Estate Capital, a subsidiary of Fleet Financial Group. Fleet Real Estate Capital was responsible for all facets of Fleet's off balance sheet Commercial Real Estate Finance and Loan Servicing activities. Mr. Greenland received his Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary and Juris Doctor from the University Of Miami School Of Law. He previously rose to the rank of Captain in the United States Army Reserve and is currently a member of the Florida bar. He is Series 24 and 7 licensed by FINRA. William F. Looney Mr. Looney is responsible for managing all of DebtX’s loan sale operations in the United States. Under his leadership, DebtX has grown from a start-up to the nation’s largest loan sale company. Prior to DebtX, Mr. Looney was a founding partner in the Boston law firm of Looney, Cohen, Reagan & Aisenberg LLP, which specializes in representing banks and investment banks in commercial loan sales and other commercial transactions. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Looney handled middle market corporate and commercial real estate lending and workouts at several Boston commercial banks. Mr. Looney received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College and received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. Thomas R. Goodwin Mr. Goodwin is the senior sales person at DebtX. Mr. Goodwin is responsible for working with clients to help them understand the likely market clearing price for their assets, and coordinating all aspects of the trade, from marketing the offerings, bidding, and closing the sale, through to the closing dinner. Clients include investment banks, major insurance companies, national, regional and community banks, pension funds and the FDIC. Mr. Goodwin has been active in real estate finance for over 25 years as a loan trader, workout officer, and construction lender for major banks in Boston. He has successfully coordinated more than $5.0 billion of commercial debt trades over the past 18 years. Loans sold have been collateralized by properties located across the country, represented all property types and performance levels, and range from large multi-asset portfolios to single loans. Mr. Goodwin received his Master of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University and Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Lawrence University. He is Series 24, 7, and 63 licensed by FINRA. Bruce K. Hounsell Mr. Hounsell is responsible for oversight of the development of DebtX’s DXMark® valuation systems. In this role, Mr. Hounsell draws from years of experience as the company’s Head Trader and a deep understanding of techniques used by the buy side community to value loans. Under Mr. Hounsell’s tenure, DXMark® has developed into a highly scalable, client friendly suite of services that is the only loan whole loan pricing system market tested for accuracy. Prior to DebtX, Mr. Hounsell was formerly Director of Landauer’s Loan Sale Advisory Group where he developed pricing technology and a multi-seller process that enabled the group to sell 97% of loans offered. Previously, he was Vice President at Fleet Real Estate Capital in charge of purchasing high yielding, structured debt. Mr. Hounsell received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Colorado and Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of New Hampshire. He is Series 24, 7, and 63 licensed by FINRA. William J. Jakubowski Mr. Jakubowski manages the DebtX Technology business, overseeing sales and product development of the DXOpen® deal management product suite. Under his leadership, DebtX has become an industry standard technology provider in the syndicated loan space. Mr. Jakubowski also serves as program manager for specific government clients. Prior to DebtX, Mr. Jakubowski was Director of Operations at RenderView Software, Inc. Previously, he was Division Manager for Arkwright Mutual Insurance Company’s Assumed Reinsurance division. Mr. Jakubowski received his Master of Business Administration degree from the Carroll School of Management-Boston College and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Villanova University. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Kevin J. Jarnot Mr. Jarnot is responsible for DebtX’s technology development, management of the engineering and IT staff, as well as security and privacy issues. Mr. Jarnot has been a technologist for 20 years, and over the last 13 years he has had roles in systems architecture and senior management. He was CTO and co-founder of Business Data Exchange (BD-X), a financial information provider that produced real-time transcripts and databases of corporate earnings calls. BD-X was sold to Thomson Reuters/CCBN in April 2002 and is now a core feature of their StreetEvents product. Prior to BD-X, Mr. Jarnot was Director of Engineering for TimeØ, the B2B e-commerce subsidiary of Perot Systems. Mr. Jarnot received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Canisius College and attended the Graduate School of Engineering & Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Karen Johnson Ms. Johnson manages the DebtX Analytics business. In this capacity, she is responsible for new client engagements and relationship management of the growing valuation client roster. Prior to joining DebtX, Ms. Johnson was a Director of Sales for the Real Estate Finance Group of Standard and Poor’s. At Standard and Poor’s, she managed client relationships for financial institutions investing in U.S. CMBS with assets in excess of $50 billion under management. Prior to Standard and Poor’s, Ms. Johnson was a Vice President of Sales for Global Link, an electronic commerce division within State Street Corporation. At Global Link, Ms. Johnson was responsible for sales to Fortune 500 institutions. In her previous posts, Ms. Johnson has held various institutional sales and trading positions with leading investment banks, specializing in corporate, government and structured debt products. Ms. Johnson received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from Yale University. She also attended the New York University Stern School of Business. She is Series 3, 7 and 63 Licensed by FINRA. Ms. Johnson is also a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Kevin J. Kelley Mr. Kelley manages DebtX's US Trading Group and is responsible for overseeing domestic loan placement. Mr. Kelley also currently acts as DebtX’s General Counsel. Bringing over 12 years of loan acquisition and disposition experience, Mr. Kelley was in-house counsel for Capital Crossing Bank, which specialized in purchasing loans secured by commercial real estate, multifamily, one-to-four family residential real estate and other business assets, prior to joining DebtX. Mr. Kelley received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut and received his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. Mr. Kelley is a member of the Connecticut and Massachusetts bars. He is Series 7 and 63 licensed by FINRA, and a licensed Real Estate Broker in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. David V. LeBlanc, CFA Mr. LeBlanc is responsible for capital markets and other strategic corporate initiatives. Having previously managed the Trading Group, Mr. LeBlanc has established extensive relationships throughout the secondary market including commercial and investment banks, hedge funds, opportunity funds and other institutional investors. He was also responsible for overseeing a team responsible for pricing and placing over $5 Billion in distressed and performing commercial real estate and corporate debt in the secondary market. Mr. LeBlanc brings over 15 years of experience in loan sale advisory, commercial real estate finance and capital markets. Prior to joining DebtX, Mr. LeBlanc held various positions at Berkshire Mortgage Finance (now Deutsche Bank) in the CMBS and agency lending groups. Mr. LeBlanc obtained a Master of Planning degree with a Real Estate Development concentration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree from Plymouth State University. He is a CFA Charterholder and is Series 7 and 63 licensed by FINRA. Dan O'Leary Mr. O'Leary is responsible for overseeing DebtX’s Underwriting Group. Mr. O'Leary has spent over 30 years involved in all areas of real estate finance. Prior to joining DebtX, Mr. O'Leary was employed by Arthur Andersen in New York in their Real Estate Consulting Practice, primarily assisting investment banks with their securitization efforts. Prior to Andersen, Mr. O'Leary was the Chief Credit Officer for ContiFinancial Services Commercial Real Estate Division where he was responsible for the structuring, approval and closing of over $2 billion in commercial mortgages originated for the purpose of securitization. Mr. O'Leary received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. Gifford S. West Mr. West is responsible for DebtX’s international business activities. Prior to joining DebtX, Mr. West worked for Bankers Trust as a senior executive in their financial service venture capital group. Prior experiences include significant roles within the strategy, risk and capital market consulting groups of Booz, Allen & Hamilton and Oliver, Wyman & Co. in London, Frankfurt, Hong Kong and New York. Mr. West began his career at Credit Suisse First Boston where he was an Assistant Vice President in the mortgage-backed securities group in London and Tokyo. Mr. West received his Master of Business Administration from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Eastern history from Harvard University. John C. Sauer
Mr. Sauer is responsible for the management of sales in the company’s Atlanta office and for the development of the Southeast Region. Mr. Sauer has 25 years of experience in commercial lending in real estate, structured finance, and leasing. With this experience, he has built and maintains numerous relationships within the institutional and commercial finance sectors. Prior to joining DebtX, Mr. Sauer was the head of Real Estate lending for the CIT Group. Prior to CIT, Mr. Sauer held senior lending positions with Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase, and MetLife.
Mr. Sauer received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville.
Jeffrey Cantor
Mr. Cantor is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, pricing and structuring loan sale engagements from the company's San Francisco office as well as the management and direction of the Western Regional office. In addition to banks in this region, he is responsible for relationships with CMBS Special Servicers, Insurance Companies and Finance Companies. He has over 25 years of real estate and financial services experience ranging from asset based lending and loan syndication to institutional sales while at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Cantor was formerly Manager of Loan Syndication at Fremont Investment & Loan where he was responsible for the program's development. Prior to joining Fremont, Mr. Cantor was responsible for loan syndication efforts with the construction lending team at The Capital Company of America/Nomura Asset Capital Corp.
Mr. Cantor received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University at Buffalo.
Troy Quimby
Mr. Quimby is responsible for all aspects of corporate finance, accounting, tax, and treasury. In addition, he assists with areas of risk management, corporate compliance and governance. Mr. Quimby has been working in finance for 20 years. Prior to DebtX, Mr. Quimby acted as the Controller of Boston Capital Mortgage Company, an originator and securitizer of commercial real estate debt. Prior to Boston Capital, Mr. Quimby was Controller of R.H. Foster, Inc., one of the largest petroleum distribution companies in Maine. At R.H. Foster, Mr. Quimby specialized in mergers and acquisitions as well as accounting system design and implementation.
Mr. Quimby received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maine at Machias. He is Series 27, 7 and 63 licensed by FINRA.
